MAN at Solutrans from 16 to 20 November 2021
At Solutrans, MAN Truck & Bus (hall 3 - stands A012 & A016) will present its new generation of trucks, which was launched in February 2020, for the first time at a trade fair in France. The manufacturer will also unveil several new products in a world preview. Invested in the energy transition, low-emission vehicles will also be in the spotlight.
The entire strategy and innovations will be detailed at a press conference on Tuesday, November 16 at 12:30 pm.
New for the new generation
Man will be presenting the new 2022 innovations for the new truck generation in a world premiere. They will be presented on a MAN TGX tractor and a MAN TGL forwarder.
The new equipment, which will be available between the second half of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 on the entire truck range ( long-distance, construction, distribution), is :
- The optional MAN OptiView system, which replaces the traditional rearview mirrors, and new driver assistance functions make the new generation of MAN trucks even safer and more environmentally friendly.
- Additional fuel savings of up to 3.7 percent thanks to the new driving functions and improvements in aerodynamics.
- Expansion of the range of digital services to simplify the daily life of carriers and their drivers. (See all the innovations in the dedicated press release)
The eTGE custom-made thanks to bodybuilders
The MAN eTGE all-electric commercial vehicle range has been extended with the presentation of an eTGE equipped with a body from the bodybuilder SPIER, as a preview for France.
Until now, the eTGE has only been available in a panel van version. This new offer will enable us to meet the expectations of customers operating in city centers and EPZs. The model that will be exhibited at Solutrans will be equipped with a 13.5m3 SPIER body offering a payload of 775kg for a GVW of 3.5 tons. Versions equipped with a platform and a tipper are also in the process of being approved.
The TGE goes from strength to strength
Following on from the MAN TGX Individual Lion S, which will also be presented on the stand, MAN will be unveiling a world premiere of its special series van: the MAN TGE Individual Lion S. To round off the presentation of these special series, which represent MAN's top-of-the-range comfort and design, an Audi RS4 will complete the stand as a reminder of the common DNA of the two brands. (See all the details in the dedicated press release)

Energy transition: a key issue for MAN
The MAN Group is committed to supporting its customers in the energy transition. Today, as an alternative to B7 diesel, MAN offers:
- On trucks, B100 (EN14214 standard) and HVO/XTL (EN15940 standard) biofuel approvals. We do not have ED95 in our catalog. Note that MAN and Saipol, the leading biofuel producer in France, have joined forces to offer vehicles running on B100 Oleo100 at a cost comparable to a vehicle running on B7*. The 100% French rapeseed fuel produced by Saipol, a subsidiary of the Avril Group, reduces CO2 emissions by at least 60% from field to wheel, according to ADEME, and fine particle emissions by up to 80%. This plant-based fuel is also 100% renewable and biodegradable. *This offer is valid for the purchase in metropolitan France of a new MAN truck or bus approved B100 with a maintenance contract, all concluded with the MAN Truck & Bus France network as well as private distributors participating in the operation, and in the event that a supply contract for Oleo100 is concluded with Saipol for this vehicle. Example of a road tractor, national transport, based on 100,000 km / year over 4 years.
- On vans, electric engines (MAN eTGE)
The MAN stand will also have a corner for vehicle-related services where MAN Service (after-sales service), MAN TopUsed (used vehicles), MAN Rental (vehicle rental), Rio (digital services) and MAN Financial Services (financing offer) will be presented.
Finally, the MAN brand will also be represented on the partners' stands with :
