Presenters:
Beth Yates is the children’s consultant in the Professional Development Office of the Indiana State Library, where she provides training opportunities along with best practices advice to youth services librarians across the state.  Beth was a Children’s Services librarian at the Johnson County Public Library in Greenwood, IN for 12 years, serving as department manager for eight of those years.  She joined the Indiana State Library in 2015.   

Christy Franzman is the Teen Coordinator at Hamilton East Public Library in Noblesville, IN, and has more than 15 years of experience in the profession; ten of those as a teen librarian.  Prior to working at HEPL, Christy worked at the Indiana State Library where she served as Co-Director of Indiana Center for the Book and assisted in the design and opening of the Indiana Young Readers’ Center.
