LEARN FROM EXPERIENCED, REAL WORLD ENTREPRENEURS
Drawing from eight core concepts, the program enables participants to learn directly from the firsthand experience of real-world entrepreneurs who share their knowledge and experience throughout the course.
Please complete this application to be eligible to receive a full scholarship covering tuition, books, supplies, meals, and certificates for the Ice House program hosted by the Small Business Center at Nash Community College in partnership with NC IDEA, the Eastern North Carolina Center for Business and Entrepreneurship at Wesleyan College, the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce, and Station Square. While the class will be at no cost to those awarded the scholarships, there is an associated cost that is covered by the above sponsors to deliver the program at an estimated value of $299 for each individual.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be able to attend all six class sessions, held every Tuesday evening between February 25, 2020 through March 31 2020 weather permitting. Scholarship recipients will be required to complete a class contract. While this class is being offered at no cost to participants, there is a cost to provide the training; therefore, please be sure you can meet the attendance requirement before applying. A meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m., which also allows the opportunity to network with like-minded entrepreneurs. Classes will meet from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Station Square, 301 S. Church Street, Suite 136 training room. There is limited seating, so please do not delay in submitting a completed application.
