2020 has been a year like none other. All of us have been asked to do extraordinary things in an unprecedented time, leaving many feeling weary and burnt out. In the face of a global pandemic and ongoing social unrest over racial oppression, educators have been asked to carry a tremendous responsibility of continuing the essential work of educating our earliest learners. This past year has brought many unique challenges, and this lecture will address the nature of these challenges while sharing strategies and tools for overcoming them.
As we begin the new year, we look to focus on hope and renewal. Join Dr. Sharon Knight for a 3-part lunchtime lecture series focusing on strengthening communities and building resiliency.
This lecture series is appropriate for birth-to-five educators at all experience levels. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to attend all three sessions if possible.
Dates/times:
Friday, January 22nd, 2021 from 12 – 1 PM
Friday, February 26th, 2021 from 12 – 1 PM
