Ted Abernathy with Economic Leadership presented Nash County's 2020 Strategic Action Plan on October 26th. Click here to view a copy of the full report and presentation. 
Nash County's Highway 97 Industrial Site went through a rigorous site evaluation through the Duke Energy Site Readiness Program. Consultants from Global Location Strategies presented their findings on October 14th. Click here to view a copy of the final report. GLS describes the Highway 97 site as an ideal choice for logistics and distribution. This designation marks Nash County's second Duke Energy Readiness site. In addition to HWY 97, the Middlesex Corporate Centre is also a designated Duke Energy Site Readiness industrial site.

$25 Million investment announced for Rocky Mount, Nash County's largest municipality!

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. (NYSE: CNR), a manufacturer of exterior building products, will create 38 new jobs in Nash County, Governor Roy Cooper announced today. The company will invest approximately $25 million over five years to establish a production facility in Rocky Mount.


“I know first hand about the dedicated workers and great quality of life in Nash County, and Cornerstone Building Brands agrees,” said Governor Cooper.
