The NDNY-FCBA was constituted to provide a forum to promote a more effective exchange of ideas between the practicing bar and the federal court as well as to provide educational and social programs for attorneys and court personnel.
Our mission is to foster the highest ethical and professional standards for all attorneys in the NDNY by providing continuing legal education and a liaison between the Federal Bench and Bar, monitoring and proposing changes as needed to the Local and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and performing such other acts as to enhance the standards of federal practice in the District.

The Constitutional Scholars Program is a non-profit, non-partisan, educational, community outreach program of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York (“NDNY”). Video Performances are due by midnight on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. No entries will be accepted after midnight.
CLE: PRO BONO TRAINING 2024: TRYING A CIVIL RIGHTS CASE
Mark your calendars for our 2024 Program which will give you all the tools you need to confidently handle a Pro Bono prisoner case in Federal Court. In addition to skills training, this full-day program will include credit hours in DEI, Ethics, and Cybersecurity.
CLE: FEDERAL RULES UPDATE: WHAT’S NEW AND WHAT PRACTITIONERS NEED TO KNOW
Course Description: A two-part training covering important topics including evidentiary authentication of social media, the Bail Reform Act, 21st Century technology tools, case budgeting, and 2nd Circuit and Supreme Court case updates.
