Tech in South Carolina is growing. We are providing pathways for ready-to-work engineering talent.

Develop Carolina is a registered apprenticeship for early-career technical talent seeking an entry point into the tech industry. We’re here to provide a bridge for skilled talent to work in South Carolina’s most innovative companies.

Here’s how it works.

ongoing training and mentorship

Apprentices attend virtual classrooms two days per week for in-depth learning. Our curriculum can be tailored to match their on-the-job needs, and they receive weekly mentorship for additional support.

host skilled talent

Hosting apprentices is a solution for finding skilled, coachable talent. It saves recruitment, vetting, interviewing, and onboarding time and resources. The apprentices will work three days a week for six months, providing ample opportunity to learn and grow while making meaningful contributions to the company.

win-win solution

Develop Carolina’s apprenticeship model is a win-win. Companies get a chance to find and develop top talent ready to contribute to their projects. Apprentices launch their careers with valuable hands-on experience and guidance.
