Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, April 30th

Residents across the region will be able to rid themselves of unwanted medication Saturday as several communities participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The program is sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Agency and gives people a chance to properly dispose of expired, unwanted or unused drugs — prescribed and over-the-counter. Here are a few locations where you can drop them off:
- Brookline Teen Outreach, 520 Brookline Blvd., 9am – noon
- Dormont Police Dept., 3075 West Liberty Avenue, 10am – 2pm
- Castle Shannon Police Dept., 3310 McRoberts Road, 10am – 2pm
- MRTSA, 315 Cypress Way, 10am – 2pm
- Mt. Lebanon Police Dept., 555 Washington Road, drop box available 24 hrs/day
