During the transition, claimants who have opted to receive their benefits on a prepaid debit card (ReliaCard) will be issued checks in the mail. These checks will be mailed from the Pennsylvania Treasury to the address on file with the Department of Labor & Industry.
To be sure that you don’t miss out on any benefits, and to ensure that you receive your new Money Network card, all UC claimants should check their dashboard to see that their correct address is on file with the Department of Labor & Industry. This is particularly important if you know that you have moved since applying for benefits.
On March 6th, Money Network will begin sending out their cards to claimants who receive benefits via debit card. There will be no funds on the cards when they are initially received. Please note that any balance on your ReliaCard will NOT transfer to the new Money Network card. You should use the funds on your ReliaCard or have the balance transferred to a personal bank account.
The new Money Network cards will arrive in a plain, white envelope with an Omaha, Nebraska, return address. When your Money Network card arrives, please be sure to activate it using the instructions found with the card. The transition to Money Network will be complete by March 24th.
If you would like additional details about the transition from the ReliaCard to the Money Network card, you can read more on the PA Treasury and Department of Labor & Industry websites.
