Stop by any time between 5 and 7 p.m. to meet me and my staff, talk about state issues, and share some holiday cheer. Light refreshments will be provided, and staff will be on hand. We hope to see you there!

Local holiday events
Here is a list of some of the other local holiday events that will be taking place in a neighborhood near you.
Saturday, November 19th - Jolabokaflod – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Mt. Lebanon Public Library is bringing back its Jolabokaflod (Icelandic for Christmas Book Flood) festival with live music and poetry readings, local artists, crafts for kids, and more.
Thursday, December 1st – Beverly Brite Nite – 7 – 8:30 p.m.
The Beverly Road business district in Mt. Lebanon will host carolers, ice carving, extended shopping hours, and a visit from Santa at the annual Beverly Brite Nite celebration.
Saturday, December 3rd – Dormont Parade & “Home for the Holidays in Dormont” – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Following the Dormont Fire Department Holiday Parade, Potomac Avenue will be the site of activities, music, an artisan fair, cookies with Santa, and more at Dormont’s outdoor holiday event.
Sunday, December 4th – Light up “Nite” in Castle Shannon - 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Castle Shannon’s annual Light Up Nite will take place at the corner of Castle Shannon and Mt. Lebanon boulevards. Music will begin at 6:30, followed by the tree lighting and Santa’s arrival.
Saturday, December 10th – Mt. Lebanon Uptown Winter Market Holiday Celebration – 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Uptown Mt. Lebanon will be the site for music, activities, shopping, artists, and more at an event that promises fun for the whole family.
Monday, December 19th – Glow in the Dark Chanukah – 5 – 8 p.m.
Chabad of the South Hills presents Glow in the Dark Chanukah, featuring a glow-in-the-dark menorah, donuts, face painting, and a DJ in the Dormont Pool parking lot.
Tuesday, December 20th – Welcome Winter Party - 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Youth of all ages are invited to welcome winter together at a party at the Castle Shannon Library. Crafts, music, refreshments and winter stories will all be part of the fun.
Holiday closure
Our office will close at noon on Wednesday, November 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen on Monday, November 28th at 8:30 a.m. We look forward to serving you then!
