Technology Needed To Participate In The Online Training:

1) An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE). Minimum bandwidth is 600kbps (up/down) and recommended is 2.0 Mbps (up/down).

2) Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth

3) Laptop, Desktop, Smart Phone or Tablet 

4) Web browser: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome

5) Windows or Apple Desktop/Laptop operating systems

6) Adobe Flash Player

An Introduction to the Magda Gerber Educaring Approach (Feb 2021)


 

The “Educaring” approach believes parents and caretakers must have respect for infants and trust that they are natural inventors, explorers, and self-learners. Training includes: 1) Introduction – what is Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach, Free Movement, and Play 2) Development - Gross, Fine Motor, Reflexes, and Educaring Influence on Social Emotional 3) Caring Activities and Keys to Sensitive Observations

 

Audience: Birth-to-Three Teachers, Providers, Administrators, & Directors (Family Child Care & Center Based)

This is a multi-day training (9 hours total, spread over three days).  If you register for this training, you are registering to attend all three days.
