Capps Military Scholarship Established at NCC

The Nash Community College Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the SFC. William M. Capps Military Scholarship. Established by his family, the scholarship serves as a tribute to honor Sergeant First Class William M. Capps’ service in the United States Army. Capps served in many parts of the world, including Vietnam, Korea, Fort Benning, GA, Fort Bragg, NC, and three tours in Germany. Mr. Capps’ family wishes to award the scholarship to veterans or children of veterans enrolled in continuing education courses at Nash Community College.

The Nash Community College Foundation, Inc. was established in 1983 to increase community awareness, raise funds for the student scholarship program, and to help meet the needs of Nash Community College. The resources ensure that deserving students have the financial capability to take advantage of the quality instruction and higher educational opportunities the College provides.
