World Conference On Doping In Sport Katowice 2019 | 5-7 November

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Representatives and experts from the global anti-doping community will converge in Katowice for the 2019 World Conference on Doping in Sport to take stock of the evolution of clean sport and engage in high-level discussion about the global anti-doping program.

The Conference will focus on the conclusions of the World Anti-Doping Code review process which started late in 2017 and which also included the review of the International Standards (listed below).

  1. International Standard for Code Compliance by Signatories (ISCCS)
  2. International Standard for Education (ISE) - New
  3. International Standard for Laboratories (ISL)
  4. International Standard for the Prohibited List (ISPL)
  5. International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information (ISPPPI)
  6. International Standard for Results Management (ISRM) - New
  7. International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI)
  8. International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (ISTUE)

The Conference will enable WADA’s Stakeholders to publicly comment on the proposed changes to the revised documents and they will then be approved by the WADA Executive Committee and Foundation Board on the final day of the Conference (7 November 2019). They will take effect on 1 January 2021.
